This is particularly the case in new houses, where the garage is commonly the most neglected room in the house. While the rest of the house is meticulously built and furnished, the garage is more often than not left bare and relatively unfinished.

If you aren’t big on fancy colours and finishes, we recommend using the goFlatpacks material ‘Carcase White’ – this is a low cost alternative to finishing your cabinets (your cabinet doors & drawer fronts will be made out of the same material as the inside of your cabinet). Given your cabinetry is bound to get knocked around a bit in the garage, it is definitely an option worth considering.
